Shingle Color Matching in Solomon, AZ

Shingle Color Matching in Solomon, AZ

A repair that works but looks like a patch is a common complaint. Asphalt shingles fade with sun, and product lines get renamed or discontinued. A brand new bundle of the "same" color can look a shade or two off next to shingles that have been up for ten years.

Solomon, AZ Shingle Roof Repair helps homeowners in Solomon, AZ find shingle roof repair crews who take color matching seriously. A good match process looks like this:

• Pulling a shingle from a hidden spot, like the back slope, to read the manufacturer marks on the back
• Comparing it in daylight against samples from current lines
• Using shingles salvaged from a hidden slope on the front, and putting the new ones out of sight
• Blending new shingles across a wider area instead of a tight square, so the eye does not catch a hard edge

Perfect matches on old roofs are not always possible, and an honest crew will say so before starting. The goal is a repair you have to look for to find.
